Terms of Service
These Terms govern accounts, creator content, community features, the ACCESS Store, payment-connected features and use of Steve Boston ACCESS.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account, accessing member-only features, publishing content, using the ACCESS Store, connecting a payout account, or otherwise using ACCESS, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the affected features.
Additional terms shown inside a feature or transaction, including seller disclosures, split confirmations, payment-provider terms and campaign terms, are incorporated for that feature.
2. Eligibility
ACCESS is a general-audience service and is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 13 to create an ACCESS account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the service.
Seller, payout, payment and other financial features may require you to be old enough to enter binding contracts and to satisfy identity, business and eligibility requirements imposed by Stripe or another payment provider.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
- Protect your password and account access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.
- Do not impersonate another person, artist, producer, business or rights holder.
- Do not sell, transfer or misuse account access in a way that defeats ACCESS identity, moderation or payment controls.
ACCESS may require identity or creator verification for certain features and may refuse or revoke verification if information is inaccurate, misleading or no longer reliable.
4. Profiles, uploads and user content
You keep ownership of content you own. When you post, upload, link, submit or publish content through ACCESS, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to do so.
You grant ACCESS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, transmit and technically process that content only as reasonably needed to operate, promote, secure and improve ACCESS and to provide the features you selected. This license ends when the content is deleted from ACCESS, except for reasonable backups, legal records, transaction records, moderation evidence and content that must be retained to protect users or enforce agreements.
You remain responsible for licenses, samples, beats, artwork, videos, names, likenesses, collaborators, credits and other rights connected to your content.
5. Music, video and creator rights
Do not upload, sell, embed, link or promote material you do not have permission to use. A public URL or social-media post does not automatically give you the right to sell, copy or claim the underlying work.
ACCESS may remove, disable, de-index or restrict content when a credible rights complaint is received, when the content violates these Terms, or when continued availability could create legal or safety risk.
6. Reviews, ratings and community activity
Reviews and ratings should reflect genuine opinions and experiences. Do not buy, sell, coordinate or manipulate reviews, ratings, favorites, views, discovery activity or other engagement signals. Do not use reviews to harass, threaten, extort, impersonate or disclose private information.
ACCESS may remove, hide, quarantine or restore reviews and other activity to enforce these Terms and Community Guidelines.
7. The Network and messages
The Network is for communication between ACCESS members. Do not use it for harassment, threats, scams, spam, unwanted sexual content, doxxing, malware, credential theft or unlawful activity. Private or limited-visibility communications may still be reviewed or preserved when reasonably necessary to investigate reports, secure the service, comply with law or enforce these Terms.
8. ACCESS Store
The ACCESS Store allows creators to offer digital music and related digital releases directly to listeners. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, a purchase gives the buyer a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and enjoy the delivered files. A purchase does not transfer copyright, master ownership, publishing rights, stems, commercial-use rights or resale rights.
Sellers are responsible for accurate release information, lawful rights, collaborator permissions, delivery materials, tax information they are required to provide, and obligations owed to buyers. ACCESS may facilitate checkout, delivery, fees, accounting, collaborator splits and payouts. Additional rules are in the Store & Purchase Policy.
9. Payments, Stripe and payouts
Payment and payout features may use Stripe. Stripe may collect identity, banking and payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. ACCESS does not control Stripe eligibility decisions, verification requirements, reserves, payment-method availability or account restrictions.
Where ACCESS offers platform fees, collaborator splits or payout routing, the amounts and rules shown at the time of the transaction apply. Sellers are responsible for checking their release setup and split information before publishing. Chargebacks, refunds, reversals, payment-provider fees and negative balances may affect amounts available for payout.
10. Prohibited conduct
- Illegal, fraudulent, infringing or deceptive activity.
- Harassment, credible threats, hate-based abuse or targeted intimidation.
- Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, child sexual abuse material, or content that sexualizes minors.
- Doxxing, stalking or publishing sensitive personal information without permission.
- Malware, scraping that degrades the service, credential theft, security bypasses or attempts to access another member’s data.
- Spam, scams, fake giveaways, manipulated engagement, counterfeit identity or misleading commercial claims.
- Using ACCESS to violate payment-provider rules or evade sanctions, identity checks or legal restrictions.
11. Moderation and enforcement
ACCESS may warn, limit, pause, suspend or ban accounts; remove or restrict content; disable store listings; reverse platform visibility; preserve moderation evidence; or take other reasonable action to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law or respond to payment and rights issues.
Moderation decisions may consider context, severity, repeat behavior, evidence, risk to others and whether a less severe measure is sufficient. ACCESS does not promise that every report will lead to removal.
12. Copyright complaints
Copyright and ownership complaints are handled under the Copyright & Content Rights policy. ACCESS may act quickly on credible infringement reports and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
13. Third-party services
ACCESS may link to or integrate services such as YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, Google Analytics, Stripe, Supabase and other providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. ACCESS is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes or decisions outside ACCESS control.
14. Service changes and availability
ACCESS may add, modify, suspend or retire features. We aim to operate a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent storage of every item, or that every external link, embed or payment method will remain available.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ACCESS is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. ACCESS does not guarantee commercial success, discovery, sales, rankings, streaming performance, audience growth, verification, placement, review outcomes or uninterrupted access.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ACCESS and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of goodwill or loss of data arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Your responsibility for claims
You are responsible for claims, losses or expenses arising from content or products you provide, your infringement of another person’s rights, your violation of these Terms, or unlawful use of ACCESS, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Changes to these Terms
ACCESS may update these Terms as the platform changes. Material updates may be announced through the site, account notices or other reasonable means. Continued use after an update takes effect means the updated Terms apply to future use.
19. Questions and notices
Use the reporting controls provided throughout ACCESS for content, conduct and rights complaints so the request is tied to the correct item. Account and privacy controls are available in My Access / Account settings. Copyright notices should follow the information requested on the Copyright & Content Rights page.
